This is probably one of the best magazine covers i could find to try and show what ideas ive got in mind. I really like the 'cartoony' effect it has, something like this is what im after. i dont want the cartoon element to over power the magazine but i would like there to be an aspect of it in there and i think this one does it well, it looks good, easy to read and goes really well.

ReplyDeletei can see that you have attempted to get some work done. Well done on finding some interesting images.
however, you haven't explained the link between them and your type of music magazine.
you need to be able to offer explicit reasons for the type of images that interest you and offer clear explanations to how they will work within the context of a hiphop magazine. The Kaws example is a good one - you need to explain what it is about Kaws or that style of art that could link to hip hop.
Look at the course schedule again and make sure that you are up to date with all elements.
The mock up of all 3 elements needs to be completed by next friday 12th feb.
