i wanted to use some graffiti somewhere in the magazine and i actually found a very good picture from google that i wanted to use but later found out that this would not be allowed because of copyright laws. so i decided to do my own research and go out and take pictures of graffiti, i then chose the best one and used that. I think it works really well on my double page spread and looks quite good.

New new name for magazine

I decided to go for a completly different and new design for my magazine. I did this because when i had completed my 'Gangster' magazine it didnt look as good as i thought it would and looked almost like a cartoon magazine. It didnt look professional, so i decided to go for a whole new outlook and change the style completly. My final magazine is now called 'Indy'and focuses completly on indie music, fashion and style.

Life on Mars

This clip has lot to do with ethnic backgrounds and the stereotypes that come with it, for example the policeman assumed that asian man had stolen the tv just becuase of the colour of his skin. the fact that someone is irish almost made them as second class citizens just like blacks were and were associated with all the jobs that the english didnt want to do(the crap jobs pretty much)for example 'shovelling shit' as he says.
